The Modern Invitation

Firstly I’m going to assume you are here reading this because you are recently engaged or your bestie is and your helping her organised the best day of her life. So let me start by saying a big congratulations! I am so happy for you.

Okay lets get into it. You are after some wedding invitations. Sounds easy right? This can be very confusing for some brides who aren’t sure what they need exactly. That’s where I can help. 

You see, in the past wedding invitations have consisted of the invite itself, the detail card, wishing well, rsvp card, rsvp envelope and main envelope. That’s six pieces of stationery! Which can become quiet costly (not to mention confusing for some). 

My solultion to this is what I like to call ‘The Modern Invitation’. It consists of one invite design and one envelope. Now you might be thinking, how the heck are you going to fit all that information on one invite? The key is having a wedding website. 

Wedding websites are the new way of giving everyone all the info and more in the one convenient location. Not to mention you can access it from anywhere. This allows the bride to have her traditional print invitation with a modern twist (using a free wedding website).

Having a website also allows you to have beautiful wedding invitations that are both aesthetically pleasing without missing any vital information about the wedding. You can save on costs or get the luxury finishes you dreamt of without breaking the budget.

Another great benefit is that you can receive instant rsvp’s, link your gift registry and add some extra personal touches like ‘our love story’ pages or cute descriptions for your groomsman and bridesmaids.
